Fast forward six months, I've dropped three waist sizes, lost about 20 pounds of fat and gained 5 pounds of muscle, and look about five years younger than I did just six months ago. My appearance has changed so much that many friends and acquaintances think that I used steroids or some other "secret sauce" to achieve such strikingly awesome results. They seem to think that it is impossible to make such a huge change in such a short period of time this late in life.
This is why I started this blog. Anti-Gravity refers to the ability that you and I have to reverse the aging process and seemingly defy the laws of nature. It is possible to achieve top fitness and look younger at any age!
However, you and I won't get there through get slim quick diets and fasts. The road to fitness isn't sexy. I'll lay out the essentials in a moment, but underlying the basics is simply the two Ds - Discipline and Determination. How bad do you want it?
Here's the "secret sauce" to how I got fit:
- Diet - I rebalanced my diet to consume more superfoods, fewer fats, lower glycemic grains, and lots and lots of protein.
- Supplements - inexpensive all-natural stuff I buy at stores like Trader Joe's and on websites like Vitacost boost my energy and fuel my muscle growth.
- Exercise - running has been the key to my fat loss, sustained increase in energy, and relaxation. Anybody with two functioning legs can run and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
